EXCLUSIVE: Eijaz Khan admits he’s approach Salman Khan for more than just career advice; reveals why he feels Shah Rukh Khan is ‘the King’

Eijaz Khan is an Indian actor known for his work in television and films. He gained widespread recognition with popular TV shows like Kkavyanjali, Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa, and Laut Aao Trisha. Over the years, he has established himself as a versatile performer, taking on diverse roles across genres. Apart from television, Eijaz has also appeared in Bollywood films such as Tanu Weds Manu, its sequel and Jawaan.

His participation in Bigg Boss 14 further brought him into the limelight once again, where he showcased his real personality and won over audiences. With a career spanning over two decades, Eijaz continues to take on challenging roles in both films and digital projects, proving his dedication to his craft. In an exclusive interview, Eijaz Khan recalls working with Salman Khan & Shah Rukh Khan and reveals how the superstars are both on & off screen.

In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Eijaz Khan on Salman & Shah Rukh Khan, “Salman Sir is very intelligent, I think because he comes from a family where his father is one of the greatest writers in the industry, unhone itne jaldi super stardom dekhi hai aur itne aarse tak super stardom dekhi hai woh joh bhi 2 luvz ki advice dete haina sakhikh reheti hai. Bigg Boss me bhi joh woh advice dete the, samajh me nahi aata tha kyu de rahe hai, I knew woh joh keh rahe hai woh humare bhale ke liye keh rahe hai. (Salman Sir is very intelligent. I think it’s because he comes from a family where his father is one of the greatest writers in the industry. He has seen superstardom at such a young age and has maintained it for so many years. Whatever little advice he gives is always meaningful. Even on Bigg Boss, when he used to give advice, I wouldn’t always understand why he was saying it. But I knew that whatever he said was for our own good.)

Zyada samajhme nahi aata tha but, in hindsight, when I think, he was so right in everything he used to say, he’s very very intelligent. He’s one person….agar mai advice lena chahu, not only about my career but about my life, I would go to him.” (“At the time, I didn’t fully grasp it, but in hindsight, I realize he was right about everything. He’s very, very intelligent, he’s one person—if I ever need advice, not just about my career but also about my life—I would go to him.”)

When asked about Shah Rukh Khan, Eijaz said, “But Shah Rukh sir, he is the king. Jaha jaate hai woh apni barkat phelana chahte hai. He wants you to shine in his light. Woh aise nahi hai ki…He is the last of the superstars right? Woh aise nahi hai ki he is resting. He wants you to be a part of his journey and succeed just as much as he want to succeed. (“But Shah Rukh Sir, he is the king. Wherever he goes, he spreads his blessings. He wants you to shine in his light. He’s not the kind of person who keeps it all to himself… He is the last of the superstars, right? And he’s not someone who just rests on his success. He wants you to be a part of his journey and succeed just as much as he wants to succeed).”

He continued, “Aur woh set par jab aate hai , when he hugs you, when he holds your hand, when he talks to you, aise lagta hai ki he’s giving you a part of his ‘barkat’. I was very very lucky ki Jawaan karne mila at this stage. Kuch logo ne bola tha ki, ‘Bigg Boss karne ke baad ke Shah Rukh ke saath kisne picture ki hai? (And when he comes on set—when he hugs you, holds your hand, talks to you—it feels like he’s sharing a part of his ‘blessings’ with you. I was very, very lucky to be a part of Jawan at this stage. Some people even said, ‘Who else has done a film with Shah Rukh after Bigg Boss?’)”
